About Me
Hi, I'm Gabriel Sagoe. I'm a college student who is genuinely interested in philosophy, personal growth, and figuring out how people act. I like to think deeply about questions about free will, identity, and what it means to have a fulfilled life. Philosophy has helped me think more deeply about myself and the world around me.
Being an international student from the UK has also been a big part of my journey. I've struggled to adjust to a new place in many ways, but it's also made me more independent and adaptable. I play basketball in addition to my schoolwork. This helps me stay disciplined and keeps my physical and mental health in good condition
This semester has been both challenging and rewarding. I've learned how to better manage my time, stay focused when things get tough, and keep going when they get hard. My academic goal is to keep strengthening my critical thinking skills, learning about more complicated philosophical ideas, and doing well in all of my classes. I want to use what I learn to not only get better grades butalso to learn more about myself and how I deal with life.
“The aim of philosophy is existing in harmony with nature and logic. ”
Reviewing this term, I realize that my scholastic progress is not merely focused on learning Stoicism logic, but on blending its fundamental values—integrity, restraint, and sensible reflection—within my everyday life. My objective is to advance past abstract concepts toward a tangible implementation of these old ethics in our present environment, making certain that my studies serve as a link between antique lore and modern life.
